Grow In Your Faith

INCREASE YOUR FAITH & DESIRE FOR GOD

Growing spiritually isn’t a one-size-fits-all. It is the process of becoming more and more like Jesus Christ. Below are some fundamentals we believe will grow your faith and desire for God.

Grow in Faith by Attending Church

Explore questions about God and the Bible, and be challenged to apply what you learn to your life. As a community this is where we are aligned and mobilized to change the world.

Join us each Sunday at 10:00am at Living Hope Church. Expect worship music, hear an inspiring message from the Bible taught by our pastor, and meet some great people. Utilize our amazing kids programs from birth to 7th grade. Everyone is welcome!

Grow in Faith by Reading the Bible

Having scripture in the daily rhythm of your life changes things. It gives us several keys to building and growing in faith. God’s word, the Bible, is the primary way He speaks to us. And it’s the absolute best way to discover how to follow Jesus on a daily basis. If you want to know more about God and His promises, reading the Bible is your next step.

The Bible is relevant to everyone, everywhere, at any time. It will bring you hope, encouragement, guidance, and practical advice on the every day issues you’re facing.

There are many ways to read or hear the Bible being read. Below are some online/app suggestions for daily scripture, devotionals, and Bible reading plans.

Grow in Faith by Baptism

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision to put your faith in Jesus. It’s a mature person professing, “I know what I’m doing. And I want you to know, I belong to Jesus Christ. I’m surrendered to His will in my life.” Being baptized shows others that you’ve decided to follow Jesus, and allows them to celebrate this decision with you.

At Living Hope Church, we practice full-immersion baptism, symbolizing the process of death and resurrection that Jesus went through for us. Being submersed underwater represents our death to sin and old way of life, and being raised out of the water is a picture of how Jesus raised us and gave us a fresh start in life.

If baptism is your next step, please contact our office to talk to someone about it. We have multiple baptisms throughout the year. We are excited to you’re taking this next step in your faith journey.
